Virtual Boozy Dessert Class

Want to make your happy hours more happy? Join historic cook Amy Hanley-Dykstra and learn how to make a delicious 19th century boozy dessert from the comfort of your home. Participants will make “Whipt Syllabub”, a popular 19th century dessert made of whipped cream, wine or sherry, sugar, and lemon juice.

The class will take place online through Zoom. All registrants will be sent a meeting link the night before the event. Ingredients and equipment are not provided so items should be collected and prepared before the start of class (see list below). During the program participants will work along with Amy to mix ingredients, learn some history, and ask questions live throughout the session.
It’s a great way to end a week night and help you get through the rest of the week! Ages 21 and up.
