Please join BookBar and YA novelists Elayne Audrey Becker and Cory Anderson to virtually celebrate the launch of Forestborn on September 3 at 6 pm MT! In Forestborn, magic takes no sides as shapeshifter Rora sets off on an epic quest through a dangerous forest in hopes of saving her kingdom, and best friend Finley, from a magical illness. The geographical elements of this magical world are inspired by different regions of the United States, and the virtual book tour will follow the characters' journey. About the Book
TO BE BORN OF THE FOREST IS A GIFT AND A CURSE.
Rora is a shifter, as magical as all those born in the wilderness—and as feared. She uses her abilities to spy for the king, traveling under different guises and listening for signs of trouble. About the Authors
ELAYNE AUDREY BECKER graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Classics and history. She is currently continuing her education at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland after time spent as an editor at a New York publisher. She grew up with a lake and woods as her backyard, spending long days outside and visiting national parks with her family.
CORY ANDERSON is a winner of the League of Utah Writers Young Adult Novel Award and Grand Prize in the Storymakers Conference First Chapter Contest. She lives in Farmington, Utah with her family. What Beauty There Is is her debut novel.
